Returning player

Hi! Long time fan of DAOC and would like to return as a player if it is still going. I closed my accounts 19 years ago (oh my lol) because I live in the country and well eventually daoc couldnt be played anymore on dial up LOL! anyhoo we finally FINALLY got fiber internet 2 weeks ago and I would really love to play again. I recovered my old game accounts. I used to play a cleric level 50 named paywyn on the Guinivere RP server. Is that server still up an running by chance? :) If anyone can help me get started again I would super appreciate it.

    addendum: I do see the option to pay a monthly subscription....and i see the free to play option or endless conquest. What is the difference between the 2? is everyone only doing endless conquest now or are the old servers still up and running?

    Server doesn't matter besides what housing zone you want to be in. Population is crap besides during US or Euro prime time. FTP is OK but you can't do much with it. FTP is more for people who want to just relax and talk to friends or new people who want to see if they want to play the game. If you want to experience the full DAoC, just pay the $15/month. The game is creaking along but definitely on its last legs.
