Why is there no 7 day free trial for Returning players?

I'm just wondering why Broadsword have disabled the 7 day free trial for returners?

Surely you want Returning players to try this game out that haven't played for a while and giving them those 7 days may bring them back to sub.

I also think their needs to be a 30 day free trial over the summer period for returning/new players since a decline in population recent months.

There hasn't been a "default" one, as in always up, in years. We had campaigns such as free 30 days in the Come Back to Camelot campaigns, but as we were planning on Endless Conquest in the Fall, at the time, we weren't doing campaigns for the time being. I haven't had an update on the status of that since the timeline change just yet, though.
