Old Breifine - The Pictish Threat

Long thought defeated and forgotten, the Picts have risen up and come seeking vengeance! Striking down any who dare interfere with their attempt to establish a foothold in Old Breifine. Reclaim Breifine and prove your worth but beware, with each Pictish death their rage grows stronger, if enough of them fall, their king will rise - a relentless warrior seeking to annihilate all who dare oppose him.

Players can now speak to the Emissary of Times Long Ago at their realm's relic town for entry to Old Breifine.


The Picts

Slay Pictish Raiders, Marauders, and Beastmasters across Breifine. Dispatch the Pictish King Cruithne when he appears!

  • Picts are spread out across Old Breifine and will award ream points on death, similar to Doppelgangers
  • Once enough Picts and players are slain, King Cruithne will spawn in either Dun Bolg or Dun da Behnn
  • Defeating King Cruithne will award realm and bounty points to the group who kill him, and a reduced amount of realm and bounty points to those within his spawn radius.
Dun Crimthainn

Dun Crimthainn is now capture-able! Take this keep for your realm and reap the rewards!

  • Both Dun Crimthainn doors are closed and can be sieged with a War Ram
  • Gatekeepers have been stationed around the doors for entry and exit for the realm who owns Dun Crimthainn
  • Dun Crimthainn Lord has returned to the keep's Lord Room
  • Siege merchants have been added to each realm's Portal Keep
Dun nGed

Dun nGed offers power to the realm who captures Dun Crimthainn. Control Dun Crimthainn and you control Dun nGed!

  • An Obelisk is housed within Dun nGed which grants the realm owning Dun Crimthainn 10% bonus to their damage and heals, however also a 10% defense debuff
  • Players must interact with the Obelisk in Dun nGed's Lord Room to receive this buff
Turkey Legs

Players can speak with the Emain Macha Teleporter to receive the quest: [Breifine] Turkey Heist.

  • This is a Turkey Leg gather quest
  • Turkey Legs can be found within and outside Dun nGed
  • This quest auto completes and auto renews, however the realm and bounty point reward has been reduced to reflect the quest being auto renewable
Player Kill Quests

Players can speak with the Emain Macha Teleporter to receive the quest: [Breifine] Pictish Call to Fury. This quest auto completes and players will receive the next quest in this quest chain:

  • [Breifine] Pictish Call to Fury - kill 15 enemies while grouped, or 5 enemies while solo - auto completes - awards 5,000 RPS and 2,000 BPS
  • [Breifine] Pictish Call to Chaos - kill 30 enemies while grouped, or 10 enemies while solo - auto completes - awards 10,000 RPS and 5,000 BPS
  • [Breifine] Pictish Call to Reckoning - kill 75 enemies while grouped, or 25enemies while solo - auto completes - awards 25,000 RPS and 8,000 BPS
  • [Breifine] Pictish Call to Supremacy - kill 100 enemies while grouped, or 35 enemies while solo - auto completes - awards 34,000 RPS and 15,000 BPS - starts quest chain over again
Note: Solo players will receive double quest credit for each enemy player kill in and around Dun Bolg and Dun da Behnn.

Old Breifine Bonuses

The following bonuses and buffs will be active throughout the zone of Old Breifine:
  • 50% Realm Point Bonus zone wide
  • 5% bonus damage for all players below Realm Rank 8
  • Damage reduction to players as follows:
    • R1L0 - R3L9 - 15%
    • R4L0 - R5L9 - 10%
    • R6L0 - R7L9 - 5%
