The Road to Tailtiu

I'd like to get my character to friendly status with Order of the Azure. I thought the quest "The Road to Tailtiu" increased my standing with them. I can see a message after killing glimmerlings, that my standing improved, but no message when I turn in the quest. Do we still get standing improvement, or am I wasting my time doing this quest over and over?

    keep farming glimmerlings until the azure are friendly and not aggressive or neutral....

    So you don't get improved standing by doing the quest, only the kills?

    I just stumbled across the answer. You have to get the level 48 quest "Aiding the Azure" in Druim Cain to start earning favor.
