Idea for pet change...

...hear me out.

What if pet damage was increased, and they were no longer CC able, BUT, they did not interrupt.

Basically, a steady stream of DPS but can be casted through without issue.
Symonde (Cleric)
Symfriar (Friar duh)
Symsorc (Double duh)
Sympets (Theurg)
Symmond (Arms)
Some random mids and hibs

  • ... what the hell?
  • daoc can pull in some winners I tell ya
  • Ok so maybe not the non CC part. But wouldn’t it be better if pets wouldn’t interrupt? And to compensate they would get a small damage bump.

  • The most important part that must be done is to make a buff cap for pets. And this cap should not be even 155 but lower instead (maybe half the value?). Pet absorb and health is fine with CL or self buffs but once that orange templar has uncapped red buffs you can't melee kill him anymore without style procs. For the none charmable pets it was quite a boost to make the pets 50, as with lower levels (level42) there is already a low chance for them not to interrupt.

I would prefer pets to not have massive absorb (so you can actually kill them with a pure melee class) AND have rather slow swing speeds. This way casters can sneak in a cast if the pet is not in range of celerity chants/buffs.
